$19.50 per hour
We’re looking for dependable, patient, and caring Direct Support Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily routines.
- Prepare meals and assist with housekeeping and laundry.
- Support residents during activities, appointments, and community outings.
- Follow each resident’s individual support plan and encourage independence.
- Provide supervision and behavioral support based on each resident’s needs.
- Assist with medications as trained and authorized.
- Complete daily notes, observation logs, and incident reports accurately.
- Communicate concerns and shift updates to the administrator and incoming staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home.
Qualifications:
- DSP 1 and/or DSP 2 training.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to meet required background clearance and health screening requirements.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a respectful approach to resident care.
- Experience supporting adults with disabilities preferred.
Available shifts:
- Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM–10:00 PM.
- Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
- Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
